The University of Glasgow is seeking a Technician to join Dr. Christopher Moxon’s laboratory at the Centre for Parasitology. The role involves providing high-quality technical services to support advanced research on cerebral malaria and teaching laboratory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and operating laboratory equipment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, preparing materials for experiments, and supporting data collection and analysis. Candidates should possess strong technical expertise in molecular and cellular biology, imaging, and cell culture techniques, along with experience in managing lab operations and research processes. A qualification equivalent to SCQF level 8 (HND) and relevant experience are required. This is a full-time, 12-month position with a salary range of £33,951 to £37,694 (Grade 6) and may be eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Skilled Worker route.
