This role centers on the development of hybrid and electric vehicle (xHEV – MHEV, PHEV, BEV) propulsion systems, with a strong emphasis on torque path optimization, system efficiency, and energy management. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading technical activities including use case development, creation of system sequence diagrams, functional failure analysis (FFA), and Design of Experiments (DoE) planning and calibration strategies. The position requires in-depth knowledge of powertrain component interactions, including internal combustion engine (ICE), powertrain (PT), driveline, and related subsystems. A solid understanding of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), CAE tools, and early-stage feature development is crucial, along with the ability to influence technical decisions and collaborate across cross-functional teams. The role also includes responsibility for driving virtual validation processes and supporting physical testing where needed.
